I used to think the messages didn't matter. That if I just ignored them, they'd stop. They didn't.

What changed wasn't the bullies. It was me reaching out. One friend. One report. One call to Cyber999.

If you're going through this — you don't have to figure it out alone. Help is one tap away.

Common questions

Is reporting really anonymous?

Yes. Cyber999 keeps all reports confidential. You can also use the online form without giving your real name.

What if I'm not in Malaysia?

This site is designed for Malaysian youth, but cyberbullying happens everywhere. If you're outside Malaysia, search for your country's cyberbullying or mental-health helpline. The three steps (block / report / talk) apply universally.

Will the bullies know I reported them?

No. Reports to platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and to Cyber999 are not shared with the person you're reporting. They'll see their account get suspended or muted, but not who flagged it.

I'm the bully. Can I make it right?

Yes. Stop the behaviour immediately. Apologise directly if you can. If the impact is serious, talk to someone trusted. People can change — but only if they take action.
